Tenor Sax

Tenor Sax

If you thought the alto sax was cool, it’s got nothin' on the tenor sax!

The tenor sax is larger and plays lower notes than the alto sax, but it works exactly the same way. AND, if you learn to play one size, you can easily switch to any other because the technique and fingerings are almost identical across the entire family!

The tenor saxophone, along with the alto and bari, is featured heavily in Big Band Jazz music, not to mention a lot of modern funk and R&B.
