Canadian Pianist, Performer & Composer

MARTIN MAYER is an award-nominated Canadian pianist, performer, composer, and producer, whose instrumental smooth-jazz-fusion music features piano, guitar, orchestra, and worldinstruments. His albums "Live In Concert" and "This Is Who I Am" were both nominated in the "Outstanding Instrumental Album" category at the Western Canadian Music Awards, propelling him to international tours, concerts and radio airplay.

Mayer has performed sold-out national tours in China in 2001, 2009, 2010 and 2014, totalling more than 29-city performances, headlined the Canadian Music, Food & Wine Festival twice in Taiwan, and dazzled concert-goers in his native Czech Republic. Canada’s government saw Mayer and his music as an ambassador of the land of the Maple Leaf and presented him as a featured artist in a series of concerts at the “Canadian Food, Wine & Music Festival” in Taiwan at the Royal Hsinchu Hotel in 2003 , The Lalu Resort & Spa at Sun Moon Lake in 2009 and at E-DA World Kaohsiung in 2016.

With credits including writing jingle and programming transition for the internet’s #1 radio station,, commercials for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, news themes for CTV2 newscasts, and a recent commission to score the documentary on the inductees into the Alberta Order of Excellence, Mr. Mayer’s international achievements have been documented for readers in prominent publications, including International Musician Magazine, and VOGUE Asia.
