In addition to the celebrity guests, three accomplished young pianists from the Steinway Society of Canada were honoured to be invited to perform on stage during the course of the evening. Robbie Akehuset, Jenna Z Liang and Lewis Yu each shared delightful, complex and admirable performances, especially considering their young age and the immense grandeur of the evening. The youngest performer was only seven years old and all three performers prepared their repertoire meticulously in acknowledgement of this great honour.
